75mg of Effexor

I read somewhere on here that someone took 75mg of Effexor and got over anxiety.  Who was that?  My doctor is going to taper me slowly from 150 to 137.5 and then 75 because he thinks it's too stimulating and causing more anxiety.........Did it take longer for the 75 to work?  I'm just slightly apprehensive because 150 got me better last time but I was a crazy mess until it worked and remember that was around week 14 or 15 so maybe this will work if I'm not so stimulated all the time.

Any thoughts?
