What is this intense sadness
« on: December 29, 2011, 09:18:25 PM »
I don't think I am depressed and really hate when my friends casually say 'yeah im just depressed today' but I have noticed that some things really get me down to a point where the following days I just feel so alone and contained to myself and having to put on a fake front to the rest of the world. I am having one of those moments right now and just feel really sad and lonely. When I feel like this I sometimes think about 0669. (please can no one put up not to 0473 because I doubt very much that I would I just have slight thoughts of not being here anymore) When I feel like this I suddenly start thinking about things that could happen which would devastate me such as my mum dying. I will just sit in my room and cry for an hour and keep thinking about this. I just wonder if anyone else feels like this. I can be happy but I always come back to feeling sad.   :(

There are conditions were people experience both feeling down and feel good. Mood swings and the likes. Not sure if you ever seen a doctor and talked this over with one. We have many members who have similar disorders. Fair to say when you are feeling down you think about all the negative in life. The most common thought is loss / dying. That is the loss os loved ones around us or us dying ourselves. But you don't have to have to have such thoughts. There is help out there. Everybody can feel a little down at times. We can feel a lot down than your average person can. Which can get us stuck in a rut. Were there can seem no way out. We can't see a future. We look to the past and all we see are the bad things that have happened in life. Plus we think of our worst fears. That is exactly what you are doing. Be it a doctor or a good therapist. Somebody who can help you sort your thoughts out. Maybe teach you new ways to deal with them. Nothing to lose at all. Only lots to gain. Hope things pick up for you.

Have decided to call time on all posting and chatting on the site. I would like to thank all those friends I have made over the past year or so. To those who didn't like me - Like I really care. Have a good life folkers.
