Trouble with Clomipramine

A little background: I have been on Paxil for many years, but decided to try and switch because of the sexual side effects. So my Psychiatrist put me on Citalopram, and I worked my way up to 40mg. The Citalopram at 40 didn't work for me, so my dr. started me on 25mg clomipramine, and 20 Citalopram. After a few days he took me up to 50mg Clomipramine. I feel worse after the increase (anxiety higher). I know these drugs during transmissions can cause anxiety, but just how tough is it supposed to be?
