Ladies - when you miss a pill...

I'm 20 years old and I've found that when I miss a pill and have to take two in one day I end up with a migraine most of the time. Last time I did it was before my anxiety really flared up and it didn't cause a migraine but did make me extra anxious and jumpy. This past weekend I missed Friday's and had to take it with Saturday's, and all day long I had unreasonable anxiety and by the end of the day my body felt terrible and I just wanted to curl into a ball & hide.

Does anyone else have such strange symptoms/effect on your anxiety when you have to take 2 pills?

What type of medication are you on? If it's an SSRI I don't believe you should take 2 if you miss one. In the past if I missed one I just took my regular 1 the next day. But yes I did notice it when I missed a dose. I'd feel withdrawal symptoms fairly quickly including being jumpy and nervous. Don't worry these are normal. I think taking 2 will exacerbate the problem though.

Sorry I actually meant birth control & forgot to mention that! It's Loestrin 24, but I used to be on Femcon & had the same effects where if I missed one and had to take two I felt terrible.

I guess everyone is different. I take seasonique and missed a pill one time, so the next day I took two instead of just one. Nothing happened to me. I'm sorry that happens to you. It could also be it's a different brand of BC. Who knows. Sorry I wasn't that helpful....

I appreciate it though! When I was younger this didn't really happen if I had to take 2 but I've changed pills since then so it might be the different brands & different amounts of hormones.
