Hey everyone, So I got black out drunk on friday night and I woke up with a giant burn on my arm, I have no idea how it got there. (I know really really stupid, save me the lecture please)

Its now monday night, I can't tell if its healing or not, my right arm seems a bit swollen when compared to my left but I don't know if my right arm was just bigger to begin with (its my dominate arm)

Alright so heres a picture of it when I first got it

, I accidently popped the blister (also stupid I know) I went to the doctor and they bandaged it up and cleaned it though, he said it should be fine and burns like this don't normally get it infected, but I'm not quite sure.

here are the more recent pictures.

Now its not really red around it which would signal infection? but it does hurt like a mother and I know it obviously looks pretty bad. I don't have a fever and I don't feel sick, I've been putting triple antibiotic cream on it and bandaging it up with gauze.

its really hard to keep the gauze on under my coat and sweater though, keeps coming off, tonight at school I didn't have anything on it and i'm worried it could have got infected there.

I don't really know a good way to clean it, I'm afraid of getting blood poisoning or something, do you think I should go back to the doctor? or does this look pretty atypical for a burn 3 days out? Also, is swelling around the sight of the burn normal?

I'm just real worried about infection, getting my arm amputated isn't in the highest of my priorities  :sick0002:

in that last picture its healing just fine. def. not infected. i wouldnt worry at all. just keep it covered until its more "closed" up if that makes sense. make sure to let it breath once in a while, however. the oxygen helps healing.
