My Wednesday.
« on: June 28, 2007, 12:50:51 PM »
(1) Was kicked out of my parent's house in the morning.
(2) Went to work (at the painting job) and was laid off because the manager doesn't "have enough work to keep me".
(3) Instantly became aware that, not only was I homeless but, I was also absolutely poor.
(4) Had a very good friend pick me up from the transit center and, he is allowing me to stay with him for a few days until I get things figured out.
(5) Got drunk off my 0104 for the first time in my entire life, and ended up drunkenly narrating my entire life experiences with the two people with me.

It was....one eventful day for me. Right now, I am coming off being drunk (heh) and honestly, I don't feel at all hopeless about this. I mean, last night I realized what I am supposed to do with my life and, I came up with a general idea of how I would achieve that despite my current predicament. Lately, I am beginning to think I search for this sort of....chaos....I don't know but, I have the feeling that everything is going to be fine.

Wow!  Are you sure you are OK?  What happened that you got kicked out of your house?  I hope that isn't too personal, but seems like it would be pretty bad for that to occur.  So, do you have a place to stay now?  I know what you are going through, I was homeless for a month or so and it was horrifying.  If you need to talk, holler.

Take care,
OE

I'm certain that I am fine. I was kicked out for numerous reasons....mainly the fact that I don't seem grateful and that I use my house as a "hotel/bank". At least, that is what my parents basically said. I knew it was going to happen eventually I just, didn't know that I would also lose my job on the same day it was going to happen.

I am okay, though. In my short nineteen years, a good deal of things have happened to me. I am almost accustomed to these sorts of things happening and, I am beginning to wonder if my anxiety is a result of my constantly being prepared for something like this to happen to me.

I have a place to board for a little while; until I get another job and am able to afford some place cheap to stay in. I have this feeling that everything will work out somehow. Earlier yesterday, just after being laid off, I got really emotional and just started wondering why all of my life attempts seem to go horribly wrong. But now, I know why I think the way I do, and what I want to make of my life. I feel sort of like, now that I know that, I can pull myself out of any predicament.

Thank you for your support :] I really really appreciate it.

Sorry that you got kicked out...but you seem to have a good attitude about your future.  One thing my sister did when she was about your age was work on a cruise ship.  Free room and board and of course your pay.  She got to do alot of traveling too and met people from all over the world.  Just and idea to ponder.  Good luck and keep us posted. lamy
