Are these anxiety symptoms? I am worried sick.
« on: October 09, 2011, 03:46:05 PM »
Hi,

Previously I made a thread on this section of the forums but I decided to make a new one instead of bumping the old thread.

At the moment, I still can't control this anxiety/hypochondria or whatever it is.
Currently, I am having

-Headache
-Weird feelings that my life isn't real/doesn't exist
-These weird cold tingling things in my stomach area and penis

I hope this is hypochondria/anxiety, because I know that it can be treated somehow.

This all started about 2 months ago when I was sitting using my laptop as usual, and then my nose felt weird and tingly and I thought I was going to collapse etc. Since then, I have been worrying about it and different things - could this be the main cause of this condition?

Thanks

P.S. If you want to know my age, I am 14 (going to be 15 on the 23rd).

Tingling/twitching/buzzing no matter where in the body is often associated with anxiety.

MOST anxiety happens at the subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state.
