I am so tired, I am on month six of feeling horrible everyday my most bothersome symptoms are dizziness or disequilibrium, nausea, fatigue, constant headaches, tingling around mouth, vomiting, weight loss, always extremely agitated and nervous, i can't exercise any longer because i feel nervous and get dizzy (used to be very in shape) had some episodes were heart rate was going over 200 know i can barely get it to 60, constant back pain, visual disturbances, strange blisters in mouth (have had these for years though) the test  i have had since march are stress test and echo, head ct, full endocrine workup, cbc and cmp over and over, lyme, celiac, all the docs i have seen say nothing is wrong is there anything that could be missed?? i think i should ask my doctor to see a rheumatologist i have been put on prozac and zoloft had horrible reactions to both (ended up in er thinking i had seratonin syndrome) and now aim taking ativan in a small dosages just to feel calm but i still feel like crap all day and really i don't want to get hooked on benzo's.....i have been told its just anxiety and depression but aim depressed because i feel like crap all the time, has anyone had all these feelings so intesenly for so long????? i think i may have bechets disease because of the mouth blisters, does anyone else get these/ also does anyone know how accurate the lyme test are? could it be negative if i really had lyme? i got a red bullseye rash on the back of my leg years ago and aim convinced it is lyme  but the docs say no because the test is negative HELP ME IM ON THE VERGE OF A BREAKDOWN !!!!!!!!

Try to take it easy, keep occupied so your mind doesn't wander.  All the symptoms you listed can also be attributed to anxiety and depression.  My anxiety/depressive episodes generally last 1-3 months feeling exactly like you said.  I have an uncle that went thru an episode that lasted 3 years, that's a long time.  He said he just kept going to therapy and taking his meds and eventually he just came out of it.  I just started using Ativan also but am weary of getting hooked on them, also they make me a bit drowsy.  Just try to relax a bit and don't have a breakdown.  Your not alone, it took me about 6 hours today to get out of bed. Hope you feel better.  :action-smiley-065:

I feel for you!
Why don't you try a diffferent combination of meds? maybe this would help? My first combination didn't help, but then doctor prescribed antidepressants and I already feel a big difference.
hold on, you are not alone in your struggle!

Its surprising how dramatically worse we can feel when in a rough patch dealing with anxiety and depression.  In the past, I did not fully understand how dramatically anxiety and depression disorders and are interconnected with a feeling of actually physical wellness and health.  I mean, don't get me wrong, I did understand it stressed the body and that the body manifested the stress through pain and various uncomfortable or seemingly worrisome symptoms, but I didn't realize that the same disconnection and chemical imbalance that causes the mental and emotional issues of anxiety are the same chemical imbalances that can affect our nerves, muscles, and the way we perceive pain.  This is a new revelation to me that my rheumatogist discussed with me, and it makes so much sense because our brain is an organ.  If our brain can be affected by chemical imbalances, can't the whole body too?  That explains why we sometimes have such random pains and feel so ill in spite of tests coming up normal for us.

I keep singing his praises, but I first visited a rheumatologist after years of feeling physically ill and 'off' and not getting any clear or sufficient explanations from doctors, and he was the first one to not only understand the myriad of issues I have, but also explained part of the reasons I might be dealing with them in greater detail.  And for me, knowledge is power.  Not google knowledge because that leads astray, but knowledge from trained professionals and specialists that understand the complexity of the human body and how anxiety disorders relate to the body as as whole.

In other words, you can feel terrible physically and it could be related to an anxiety disorder.  Yes, you can even feel like there is something dreadful going on, and it can be related to how the body deals with this disorder.

The good news is that there is a mind-body connection and that rewiring your mind to have positive thinking habits can effect how your body responds to pain and also can help it become more centered and balanced.  Along with eating well, sleeping well, exercising (lightly or as much as you can), and in some cases meds.  We have at least partial control on how we feel physically.
