I'm nineteen. I think the past two years have been the worst for my anxiety, what with graduating from high school and starting my first semester in college...

I'm 29 and new here. My anxiety started about six years ago, but I've been dealing with other "issues" since I was 15. It's difficult to determine which came first, however. Did I have anxiety and used my self-destructive behavior to mask it, or did my anxiety stem from the self-destruction? I suppose it doesn't really matter in the long run lol. Glad to be here!

I'm turning 40 in november. i just don't feel that old.

. But yesterday i got carded for buying a drink. so age is just a number.

I'm 19. I'm told by my mother that I've had anxiety problems related to sleep since I was very young but my first vivid memories of an anxiety disorder in the form I have it now was 4 years ago.

Well, I am 38 but will be 39 in two days. My OCD kicks in, it seems, every few years where I think I will do awful things to myself or others. It is pure HELL! My Dr. assured me that it is the OCD and I will not hurt anyone. Thank Goodness. So scary though..

I'm in my early 30's. My GAD started in early childhood, and somehow it wasn't diagnosed until this year. I think my depression has always concerned the docs and they never really looked into an anxiety disorder. This year has been hell on earth with a serious flare in my GAD--so many physical symptoms.

I have to hold on to the hope that I will improve with age. My dad has GAD and said his physical symptoms are almost gone. He's in his 60's.

I think there is something to the fact that anxiety could be hereditary. I am 35 now and my anxiety started as a young child. I beleive it had to do with my mom being very anxious and her mom as well, but also because of losing my dad at a young age too.
I am worse now than I ever have been with anxiety, panic disorder and depression. I am having a hard time getting a grip on it now. Hoping that new meds will do the trick.

(Dont know about it getting better with age, wish I did.)

i am 42, so hormones i think are kicking, can i get more eggs on ebay?

i think the hormones come in cycles, i remember the worse times were around 15-18, 22-28 and now 38-now. the last trigger was after having my first child at 38, i think maybe he was the last egg. hehe.

I am 36. I believe anxiety is my peace stolen from me due to one thing or another whether it be: a) hormone, b) stress, C) environment. d) abuse or,
e) all the above with so much more to add.
I have it and I am trying to not it have me.
