Wait a minute, hold on. Am I reading this right? Who said what, when, for what reason, to whom?

Here is what also happened to me (at another site). This was a woman who kept saying, "I love you" to me. I thought, "Oh wow, hang around long enough and someone starts to love you." Then I did a bit of research and found she said it to everyone. That took the pressure off me. After a while I started to throw the words around here and there. And meant them too. This is sad, we could have had a love-in with.................

Poor old Carryon, he was only trying to reach out!

:laugh3: Oh yes that certainly made my jaw drop with surprise! Ha ha.

Could you seriously imagine that being the real story behind carryon and GenSec? Spurned love? Come on now peepo. lol.

No no, it was a guy who left here long ago. He's not been a member here for some time now. Neither you nor glimmer nor even tinam ever knew him. The only person here who would have was six in fact.

It was like something from Junjou Romantica, february. Yeah sure, i wish! :laugh3:

He was a sweet guy in fact. Was one of the first people i met here. Great fun too. From the pics he let me see of himself he did in fact look a bit like something from that series. Just my type. :-*

Hahahah. I am so uncomfortable with affection that trying to describe why it's uncomfortable is in itself, uncomfortable. I hung around this thread and had to dare myself to reply. It's one of my triggers for anxiety. Weirdly enough.

I however can use the word Love for hobbies and inanimate objects. Like, I LOVE this book. Everything else goes under "I really like this" category.

Although boy-on-boy loving is of no objection to me. *Runs off to watch Junjou Romantica*

I love it when I run into someone who's Scottish and they call me "love", it makes me mushy.
I say it all the time. I tell my daughter ( she's 4) and sometimes I even ask her "do you know mommy loves you ?" and she smiles and says yes. I say it to my Dad every time we speak on the phone or see each other, adn my sisters every time we speak or see each other.  :liebe028: Oh and I say it to my dogs too.

I don't love myself enough, so my therapist just suggested I put my hands over my own heart, one on top of the other, take a deep breathe, and say "I love you" to myself each day.  It engages the syThe sympathetic nervous system.  Helps with learning how to love yourself.  It also feels good to have the heat of your hands near your heart.
