constant dizziness/constant symptoms
« on: March 21, 2006, 02:49:20 PM »
Does anyone else have symptoms that are constant?? I read all the time about symptoms of anxiety, but what about when you don't even feel anxious! I have been dizzy, had a fuzzy feeling in my head, and felt off-balance for 6 weeks now! I have BAD health anxiety and the Dr. and psychiatrist both say it is not MS (Which I always worry about) - they say it is anxiety!! Anyone have this!??

Thanks for your reply! Well, I have been to many different Dr.'s and none of them say I have reason to need an MRI. They tell me they are sure it is anxiety! My psychiatrist says that if I do go and pay (out of pocket) for an MRI that it will only help (if at all) for a short while and then I will be right back where I started thinking that the test just did not catch it the first time. My only hope is that I will get pregnant and then after I have the baby the Zoloft will be able to stop the dizziness - before when I was on it all my other symptoms (twitching and tingling, along with bad aching) went away and I was able to enjoy my life!!! Do you take anything??

Oh yeah, I get it all the time.  I was so worried about it.  At times, I thought I was going to pass out.

I went to an excellent massage therapist and she said my neck is full of rock hard spasms.  Afterward, no dizziness for a while.  A couple of weeks later it was back.  So I went to the therapist and again it went away.  I was so worried and it turns out the neck tension can cause all kinds of symptoms.

Yes. I've been dizzy for weeks now. I noticed that it was bad when I was very anxious, improved when I was less anxious, and then got bad again when I became more anxious. I actually saw a doctor about it, because I thought it could be a sinus infection. She said it's a very, very common symptom of anxiety.
