Morning back aches
« on: August 19, 2011, 04:56:50 PM »
Though I have not been diganosed with fibromyalgia, I have chronic muscle aches all over my body.  The hardest part for me seems to be getting out of bed in the morning, because my back seems to always be sore.  I am wondering if I should try getting a new mattress.  I haven't noticed much, if any, improvement in the past when sleeping on different mattresses (such as when staying overnight at a hotel or someone else's house), but perhaps there is a certain kind of mattress that would help with this - has anyone experimented with this and had success?

I get the same kind of thing.  I don't have fibro though.... eh I guess I could make a case for it, but what would be the point really?
.

sometimes mattresses can be the culprit.  I'd love one of those tempurpedic mattresses!!!!

MOST anxiety happens at the subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state.

I'm the same way but I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I hate the backaches. They go away once I take my meds.
