Hello,
May I offer some advice? Please talk to your mother or an adult you trust. I am wondering if you are suffering from OCD (Obsessive Complusive Disorder). If so you will need some professional help, this won't just go away. Anxiety does tend to make one think a lot about themselves, especially when you're having weird symptoms; but since you are constantly worrying about health issues this is something else. See if you can't get into your family doctor and share with him/her what is going on and get some help. You're so young and you have your whole life ahead of you with some amazing and wonderful things awaiting. Take care and let us know how you're doing. God bless  :)

Hi -

I know what you're saying about feeling like you need to go to a doctor everyday...

last summer, I spent almost every hour of every day worrying that I was dying from some disease (leukemia, lymph node problems, etc).  I would literally keep track of the bruises on my body, brush my teeth till they bled to see how fast it would clot...it was bad to make a long story short...I begged my parents to take me to a doctor (I was 17 at the time, I'm 18 now) but they refused, saying that it was all in my head and the only place I could go was to my psychologist...

well I was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (so I don't know about the OCD comment?) because I had the same kind of obsessive, unstoppable irrational health fears for several months but I don't have OCD...my psychologist told me that is what defines GAD, so to answer your question I can definitely say from first hand experience GAD can make you feel like you need to see a doctor CONSTANTLY...

what helped me a lot is finding someone I could trust, like basketcase mentioned in their reply...for example my guidance counselor is the nicest guy in the world and he helped me sooo much I can't even explain...so I would recommend to you to try and find someone that you trust, that you can talk to about these fears without having them get upset with you or call your worries ridiculous.
