Medications just changed yesterday. Previously on Valium 5mg twice a day. Now I'm on Paxil 20 mg once a day in the morning and Klonopin .5mg 3x a day. Only taking it at bedtime because it makes me too sleepy to function during the day.

My meds? Well when I was diagnosed with Anxiety Disorder I was given HYDROXYZINE which I had to take before bedtime and VIT B1 B2 B6 B12 to control the shaking. I was relieved for a few months but then one night I had the most terrifying attack, I was rushed to the clinic and the doctor recommended I should undergo CBT. CBT does not have meds. Well IDK with you guys but mine doesn't, its pure counseling and digging up the past which I sometimes find annoying. But we do some tests once in a while its fun and I even have homeworks. CBT works well for me.

I'm on 40mg of Generic Paxil for the past 16 years. I was on it during my whole pregnancy 11 years ago. After giving birth I had post partum depression and it was upped to 60mg for a little while then back down to 40mg.
I'm recently starting to taper down on my Paxil due to poop out, So I can get on something else.

I'm also on Klonopin (When needed), Verapamil for high blood pressure, Zyrtec for allergies, Multivitamin, Fish oil, Vitamin D3, Magnesium, Vitamin C, Vitamin B (Only take sometimes), L-Theanine (Only take this sometimes) and calcium..

I take 50mg Zoloft.  It really helps.   Sometimes I take Klonopin too.

Hey Irish!

I just started on Lexapro 10mg. Only been on it two days so obviously I don't know how it works yet. Kind a nervous about it all but well see what happens

I'm on 40mg fluoxetine and 0,25mg alprazolam when needed. I've been on fluoxetine for a few years, and it's helped me with my depression and eating disorder, but the alprazolam is not enough to help me with acute anxiety. I'm going to talk with my doctor about that the next time I see him.

.5 klonopin once a day
Did take 60mg of cymbalta for year and half and I had no anxiety at all, just weight gain and constipation for side effects,... Stopped it cold turkey with no side effects either, although it's not recommended

Just started Prozac, so 5 mg/day for the next few days, then up to 10 mg/day. After that somewhere between 20-60mg.

Klonopin .5 mg as needed.

Started a prescription of ativan 0.5 mg a couple weeks ago.  I've taken four or five doses.  It does seem to help....I wouldn't say it's a deeply relaxing sensation, but takes the edge of and gets me a bit more in control. No side affects at all as far as I can tell, it's not sedating to me thank goodness.

Currently on:

Klonopin 0.5 mg twice daily
3 mg Guanfacine (1 mg TID)
1800 mg Gabapentin

Considering dropping down on the gabapentin due to some cognitive dulling that I'm not happy with....not sure what to replace it with if I go off it entirely. It does help with anxiety but it also causes some depression.
