Nightmares on Paxil???

Anyone else here experience or have experienced violent nightmares while taking Paxil?

Yes very violent worse than anything you would see in a horror film, in fact I couldnt believe my own imagination was capable of such violence and depravity it was quite disturbing.  I got used to it in the end though.  I am on a different med now and still get wierd dreams though not as violent.

Yep..I experienced horribly scary nightmares.
I'm not taking it anymore..thank goodness...but while I was on Paxil...not hardly ANYTHING bothered me!! It was great for anxiety. I just had other problems with it!

How long are you on Paxil.  In the beginnining it could increase you anxiety causing vivid nightmares.

No not really, cause I just went up a couple mg two and half weeks ago.  And now the bad dreams are starting to get less frequent.  So maybe it's a side effect that will fade with time.
