Ok just take a deep breath and breathe  everything will be fine.  I am sure its just your GERD acting up.  My husband has it too and it can be extremely painful at times.

Also, try a heating pad on your chest.  That may help!

I have been diagnosed with GERD (though I often wonder too, if it's an ulcer or GB or cancer or, or or..)  I can relate.  But I DO have moments of calm.  The chest pain is most definitely one of the symptoms.  My pain is mostly in my back, and mostly directed at the shoulder blades.  But I also have the chest  pain at times, with pain under my breasts as a common and quite painful symtom.   Definitely take some Maalox and PPI to help with the GERD.  And try cutting out dairy, acidic food, fatty food.  Stick to apple sauce, rice, chicken broth.  Boring, I know, but until it settle down a little it's better to baby your stomach.
