I will still state that before you even try any of these check with your doctor first to make sure they are fine and what is a safe dose. If you are on any other form of medication make sure they won't get in the way of the medication you are taken.

Common over-the-counter drugs

* Alka-Seltzer - fizzy solution for treating acid indigestion

* Apothecary Ezy Care Cola Syrup - fructose-based cola relief for upset stomach

* Pepto-Bismol - for simple upset stomach

* Emetrol - used to control vomiting, safe for children

* Dramamine - prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting associated with motion sickness

I second the suggestion for Dramamine, and the reminder to check with your doctor first. Dramamine is also now making a preventative one that contains a drug that helps with vertigo, if that happens to be the cause of your feeling nauseated.

If you can talk to a doctor about it, I really strongly suggest seeing if you can get a prescription for phenergan though. If you live in the states it's on the $4 list at pretty much all the pharmacies that are doing that now.

oh thats cool to know about the knew formula for dramamine.

I'm currently on phenegran and it can really help. I've had daily nausea for over 2 years, so i take it almost daily. Talk to your doc about it!

Also if you get just a little queasy at times, try sucking on peppermint candies. And sip on peppermint tea. It really helps!
