Hi Emma,

Hey at least you are honest about your laziness and work ethics!  These things can be developed!  Are you missing work because of the anxiety?  If so, you may need to get that under control first so that you won't be missing work in the future!  I know dealing with anxiety can often cause us to miss work!  I was out of work for nearly 3 months at the height of my anxiety!  I know how you are feeling!  You might be able to deal better with the help of a therapist or medication, if you are not opposed to it!  I know that this is a difficult predicament to be in!  Do the best you can and maybe some family members can be of help to you at this time!  Do not let anxiety define who you are!  You are not a nobody!  Anxiety can sometimes make us feel that we are defeated and a nobody in life, but that simply is not the case!  This is just a small setback and if you are determined to overcome this, with persistence, you can make some big changes in your life!

It's not what's happening to you now or what has happened in your past that determines who you become. Rather, it's your decisions about what to focus on, what things mean to you, and what you're going to do about them that will determine your ultimate destiny.

Thank you, Pauly.  I am currently on a low dosage of Zoloft, which doesn't help me at all. Nor did Lexapro... my doctor won't put me on anything controlled for fear of a possible addiction. There aren't any psychs near me who  deal with anxiety..

I feel very similar to you I dont mind my work really but the common theme with it  and school life is I feel im doomed to be a nobody. Its like no matter what I do the lazyness sucks me down and makes me out to be something lower then who I truly am in the inside. Combine that with anxiety and its a recipe for disaster. The trick here is you have to basically program youself and keep pushing that each little thing will slowly take you to where you wanna be. I dont know about you but I fight so hard to see these little rewards because im to busy staring at the big picture. Try to find a job that you can manage and maybe even enjoy a little :) its going to suck unfortunately all work can be a little boring. Dont count yourself out medication and therapy work to allow you to deal with ur problems but lazyness is a tough fix. Only way to overcome that is to start building a foundation that way you arent at the bottom so its like o well im not anywhere important anyways might as well quit. Keep working at it and next time you blink im sure youl be slightly better than before.
