Umm, it is not really like the TV show. The show was actually taped in Redondo Beach - which is in Los Angeles, not Orange County! How funny is that? It is great here. Right near the Beach, the weather is wonderful and there is always something to do. The people are not as bad as they portray in the show for the most part, but there are some Newport Beach (that's where I live, in fact I live very near Harbor High School, the school all of them allegedly attend) women that act pretty true to character. There is definitley a lot of money in this area, mostly new money. It is nice though, no complaints.

Just for the record I failed to mention that I am actually from the most beautiful county in Britain 'Yorkshire' our symbol is the 'white rose of Yorkshire' and no other county can match us for sheer brilliance and friendly people. There are no yellow bellies in Yorkshire.

I didn't know Harbor High School was a real school! It must be nice living by the beach in a hot climate. Scotland is pretty, that's for sure, but it's cold!

I'd add something about how great it is here, but there isn't really anything to bring up. I could make everyone laugh about some of the dumb attractions, but I'll let that ride for now.

Sanderella you make me jealous. For a reason I can't remember I've always wanted to visit Scotland. Maybe someday, if time, money, anxiety permit I'll do it.

The upside to Richmond is that it's only 2 hours to the mountains, 2 hours to the beach, and 2 hours to D.C. So it's easy to have a change of scenery.

Rugby League only appears to be played in the North it is actually all over England however, the southerners are too soft to be any good at it, the northerners are much better at taking the knocks.

I always remember the opening credits with a being thrown sausage across the dinner tables at lunchtime.

Still, the show wasnt that good.

It would be to retire again. Retired once, then opened my own business. Putz!!!
We haven't decided when or where And it may only be for a few years. Would like to travel some. I lived in a town called Hatch End in the 60's. Have no idea what it's like now and you are so right about missing the sunny days. That would soooo depress me!!!!! Do you have Tanning Salons?

We certainly do have tanning salons and as you can imagine they do very good business lol. Maybe you could open a tanning salon yourself over here, after all there is always plenty of business considering we rarely get a full week of sunshine to get a decent tan. Our sun comes in 2 day bursts then a week of rain LOL
