Klonopin adding to DR/Brain Fog?
« on: February 28, 2011, 11:45:03 AM »
Since starting Klonopin my anxiety has improved greatly. I have gone from high anxiety and panic attacks everyday to very low level anxiety with no panic attacks. Do you think that the medication could have some part in the brain fog?
Thanks, Christian

I had to quit Klonopin because it zapped all my energy and turned me into a foggy-headed zombie.  So if that's what you mean, then yes, it's possible.

I have been taking klonopin for a year and a half. It has definitely improved my anxiety. My doctor added wellbutrin as well Hopefully to augment the klonopin. At first it was a bit weird I was very tired all day. But it seemed almost like a veil has been lifted. My most uncomfortable side effect is dizziness. It can be quite uncomfortable at times. The brain fog is mostly gone. My memory is fading. I am not sure if this is also a result of klonopin. To be certain these side effects are tolerable as the anxiety was not.
