Balance
« on: April 10, 2007, 03:16:07 AM »
Balance is obviously the big answer to the obsessive side of OCD.  I wonder if anyone has ideas on how to balance your life.  I always have been the type to find 1 thing that makes me happy then I do it obsessively until I no longer enjoy it. Then I am stuck with no happiness.  I sure wish I could balance my life by enjoying everything the proper amount.  Not being able to balance is killing my relationship and killing my mood in general.  I barely get out of bed because I am not motivated or excited about anything in life.  I DID enjoy my Nintendo Wii when I was not really in a relationship, but once I have more stress I then am unable to enjoy anything else in life because I am so obsessed at fixing everything else.

I sure hope I somehow find the key to all of this.  Sometimes I reach almost absolute peace of mind.  It only lasts a short amount of time, but I SO BADLY wish it could last forever.  I somehow accidentally get myself into the right mindset sometimes where I just enjoy everything.  I let go of ALL fear.  I would give just about ANYTHING to get rid of all fear, which obviously would then allow me to try new things and be less obsessive in that way also.
