i feel that way once in a while out of nowhere almost fainted many many many times. but the key thing is that i have never actually fainted. that is what helps me if you make it through it enough times you know what to expect and it will not scare you. just breath slowly and deeply and sit down if you can and just float through it til you feel better.

Hey 203

Dizziness is a feeling that i know all too well!  This was one that was the most concerning to me when I first got it!  I was like you so concerned!

Unfortunately at the time I did not find this forum so I was unsure of what was happening to me with the dizziness!  I was waiting for it to go away everyday but it just lingered!  I was at my parents house for 10 days trying to recover from this mysterious dizziness!  I was unable to work or drive at this point!  Then I discovered that it was an anxiety symptom!  Of course after going through all the medical tests and finding nothing wrong!  What I have learned through this forum and all of my reading was that this was a common thing amongst anxiety sufferers!

I was told to ACCEPT it as just anxiety and nothing more!  I was told to not pay attention to it either!  Paying too much attention just gives it more power!  One day by accepting and not paying attention to it it was getting less and less significant!  As always get your docs opinion first and if all checks out well then deal with the real issue which is the anxiety!  Hope this helps you some!

It's not what's happening to you now or what has happened in your past that determines who you become. Rather, it's your decisions about what to focus on, what things mean to you, and what you're going to do about them that will determine your ultimate destiny.

Sounds a lot like derealization when you hang on the verge of passing out but never do. It can be like a spaced out feeling. Can do a lot of trippy things to the mind. Like make things seem further away than they really are. It is just freaky. But just another symptom of anxiety. One there is no magic cure for. In time it just vanishes. So it is not something you will have forever. I found the more I got used to my anxiety the less I began to suffer from it. Been years since it happened. But it can be frightening when it does happen. At best you just have to brave out. Distraction methods of various sorts. Whatever works best for you.
