Symptoms: Muscle Spasms/Twitching, Jittery Movement??
« on: January 28, 2011, 11:21:08 AM »
Has anyone's extreme anxiety caused them to always have shaky/jittery muscles when moving or flexing? Also, does anyone get spams or twitching all the time?

Having the nervous jitters constantly is very common and probably one of the biggest symptoms of anxiety and thats because anxiety effects your involintary nervous system.. If you get a chance, read the book Hope & Help For Your Nerves by Claire Weekes, she explains it in detail...

I also have these.  Even when I go see my general practitioner, he says it's not even bad at all, but I notice it.  And due to my OCD, I will fixate my mind on it and it gets worse.

Thanks for your reply. I think I worry too much about my health and it makes my anxiety worse. Sometimes I will feel no shakiness and will not notice any spams/twitching, but then sooner or later I will think about it. My anxiety is bad enough, then I worry about my health.

What do you do to deal with being shaky or having muscle twitches? Do you have shaky/quivering (whatever you want to call it) muscles when moving. Like when moving your wrist in this video : http://www.dailymotion.com/video/k31WnONNrtCQcL1Uavi
