Pain in the Butt!

For the past week I have had an ache and tingling in my rectum, I have in the past been told I have IBS, just wondering if this is a symptom of it.  Has anyone else had this very uncomfortable feeling?

I sometimes get the odd ache, like a spasm or something, in the lower rectum. I have IBS. Also haemorrhoids - these can be inside the rectum, this could an ache or sensitivity there.

Wow...

What a coincidence that this subject has been brought up here. I too suffer from IBS and just today while I was sitting at the computer this morning, I had waves of spasms in my lower rectum so I Googled and discovered that lots of people with IBS have this particular symptom. I have been fighting a battle with prostatitis and am taking powerful drugs so at first I was thinking that the drugs might be causing this. Now I feel even more relieved.

Oh mY god yes!!! I thought i was the only  one who had this and then i also worried about anal cancer like farrah fawcett!!! So i guess there is no need to run to the doctor for this embarrassing situation!!
