Positive Pregnancy test.. ah!
« on: January 14, 2011, 11:53:15 AM »
So I have been on and off here for the past few months with my anxiety issues over health stuff. I was diagnosed with endometriosis but still fighting with pain / cramping after a treatment surgery. Many of you may have read my story but my main hang up was worry of having a bowel disease as I had a scare of it before my endometriosis diagnosis. Well SOME HOW I pushed through and convinced myself to try to get pregnant with my wonderful husband, and take that next step as a family as we had planned despite my huge anxiety set back and fear of having a disease AND pregnancy. Heck Ive always known I would worry during pregnancy without the other worry.

I didnt expect to get pregnant this soon, and of course it is very early (havent even had my 1st apt) just found out via home preg test last night. I am SO thankful though because Endo can mess up you fertility. Thats why I push through my fears.

Well here I am. Spilling my guts to you all. Im ONLY telling very close family and friends at this point till I make it to maybe 8-10 weeks. I am still worried about my health as I was still having cramping and some pain. I was told all is good to get pregnant though back in Nov by both my OBGYN and GI doc. Im trying to just Trust God. Maybe this will help me move on from this current health issue.

I plan on telling my Doctor next week that I am concerned about my cramping. They will of course have full record of my surgery 3 months ago, and my Endo diagnosis. One day at a time.

Thanks for listening.

Congrats- this is very exciting news...

I survived pregnancy and HA... I am going to be honest with you.. It was no joy ride- my anxiety was through the roof while I was pregnant.. but in the end... it was the best reward every. Congrats to you and your hubby and your new family.

Congratulations!!!  I have a friend who had severe endometriosis and her doctor told her that sometimes pregnancy can actually be a cure for endometriosis.  It didn't for her, but thought I might mention it to you!  Once again, congratulations on your pregnancy!
