Kidney worries?

Hello again..

recently i developed some kidney pain in my lower right abdomin.. at first it was very mild.. it used to come on a morning and stay for around 10mins.. i just thought it would pass as it was probly one of those things.. anyway it got kind of worse over the course of a few weeks.. so i went to see my doctor... she took a urine test and gave me some antibiotics and told me it was more than likey a water infection..

i took my antibiotics for a week... the pain is still here.. so i went back to the doctors and my initial urine test came up negative anyway.. so i never had any infection to begin with..

the doctor examined me all over after this for any signs of lumps or stones.. she has referred me to have an xray at the hospital.. im waiting for a letter to come through to tell me when i have to go..

i cant sleep in the meantime.. i keep thinking i 100% have kidney cancer.. or some kind of bladder cancer or somethin..

ive read up on kidney stones but everyone says the pain is very intense and sharp.. my pain is just dull and constant.. it comes and goes from time to time.. i sometimes get the pain all over my lower right abdomin.. even round the front underneath the lower right ribcage.. i also get an ache sometimes in my upper glutes..

im so worried!! ive lost aroun 4 kilos in weight this last few weeks just thru worrying...

the pain isnt unbareable at all.. im just going out my mind..

i have no infection?

the doctors recommeded i get tested for chlamidya also just in case as i have been sexually active..

im going out of my mind with worry

The pain in your lower right abdomen may be muscular in nature, GI related or something along those lines.
It is very highly unlikely it is any form of cancer.

When you have kidney problems that would cause pain, the pain is usually in your back and radiates or is referred to the abdomen. It commonly isn't isolated in the abdomen. This sounds more like a GI problem and could possibly just be IBS. It seems you don't have any other symptoms except for this pain, and I find it highly unlikely that you have cancer so try to stop jumping to that conclusion. You've seen the doctor, had your x-ray and all you can do at this point is wait on the results. I know waiting can be a pain at times, but try not to over-analyze things in the mean time.
