Quick question:  I constantly can't catch my breath, always yawning, but mostlyl can't catch my breath.  This just another sign of anxiety, but it practically happens all waking hours... is it supposed to happen ALL DAY?!

i guess so because this happens to me also. i feel like i cant catch my breath and i constantly yawn.

If your anxious all day it prob. will happen all day. I felt like that alot today

Meditation and other breathing techniques will help with that.  It is like breath training with thought training all wrapped up into one.  Try it and see how it works for ya.

www.buddhanet.net  has all kinds of info on meditation and mindfulness and you don't have to be Buddhist to practice these things.  It is just like Yoga.  You can practice Yoga and not subscribe to some deeper philosophical belief.

It happens all day... yes, but I am not anxious all day.  Is THAT normal?

Oh yes, I tried Yoga twice in one week and it seemed to have helped even though I have doubts.  I may try it again to know for sure.  :-)

Meditation is not Yoga, but Yoga may also be helpful.  I would consider a daily practice in the morning of meditation and try mindfulness meditation during your day.  This will regulate your breathing and keep you in the present or now.  I would say that if you are having breathing problems all day then you are probably having anxiety all day.
