Birth Control and HP

Usually Googling doesn't bother me because I really don't get HA unless I have recently been sick. I googled blood clots. I am 24 and have high blood pressure and take birth control. I have took it over a year now, but I am so scared I will develop one. I was taking blood pressure meds but last time I went to the doctor it was a bit low so they did not give me any more blood pressure medicine. I do not smoke thank god so maybe that will help. Would I have developed one by now seeing I have been on birth control over a year with no problems?

does your BCP prescribing doc know you had/have some BP issues?  If so and BCP would be an issue in your case, the doc wouldn't have prescribed the Pill.

MOST anxiety happens at the subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state.
