You need to call your doctor and tell him/her that the Paxil is not helping as much as it had been.

I don't mean to sound harsh, but why would you even need to ask if you should call your doctor?  When you have a medical question, the person you ask is your doctor!

People here can share their experiences and their opinions, as you have asked us to do - But the ONLY person who can give MEDICAL advise is a DOCTOR.

In other words, we can tell you what happened when we took Paxil, but we cannot and should not tell you if you should increase your dosage, and you should not need our permission to call the doctor, who is the only person who can tell you if you should increase your dosage.

p.s. - You asked the same question two days ago, and the two people who answered, one of whom was me, gave you the same answer.

I took Paxil for years and it stopped working for me too.  They switched me to another medication which I have only been taking for 2 weeks.  So far so good.  Keep us updated on what the doc decides to do.

Sheesh Grandma...a little harsh and not the first time I have noticed recently.  People are on here because they feel alone in there symptoms.  Why would you want to chew people out on here?  It's not your place to spew your frustrations out to people who are already suffering.  I am sure this person knows they need to see their doctor but is looking for emotional support. The same reason why you come to the this site.
