New tonight
« on: November 30, 2010, 12:47:57 AM »
:fragend005:Because I'm too tired to write TOO awfully much, I will keep it brief.

I am 44 years old and female.  My father died 15 years ago.  Within months, I married someone I didn't know very well.  I got divorced 5 years ago and was diagnosed with GAD.  I had two nervous breakdowns, maybe more, between 2006 and 2010, and have been medicated off and on, mostly on, with everything from Effexor to Lamictal.  I am now currently taking nothing because I am uninsured.  This summer I moved to another state to assist in opening and running a new business, which is starting to fail due to lack of customers and cash support.  I don't have my own apartment or home and my car is breaking down, and I am running out of money, so that's why I am here now.

I've always been a risk-taker and a free spirit.  But now I crave my own home, a steady job, and peace.  This is probably very common amongst many of us here on this site.  I look forward to reading your stories and learning from you, and maybe helping some of you if I can.  Cheers.

MOST anxiety happens at the subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state.
