I doubt if you would need a heart drug. More an anxiety drug. Fact - nobody has ever died from a panic attack. Your symptoms are normal. I know it must be even hard to get help when you can't even leave your own house. Go to them to get the help. Bit like a catch 22 situation. In some countries they do come to you. So that might be worth checking out. What your local healthcare centre provoids. Because clearly you need some form of help. Medication and theraphy. The longer you leave it be the worse it will become. Take that from somebody who spent 10 years indoors. It is all about getting a handle on the situation. Learning all about anxiety. Doing some small exercises. Over time, when combined, these do become your answer. But it takes time. And it can be beaten. Medication is like 1/3 of the answer. Theraphy another 1/3. Your own hard work and efforts the final 1/3. But just see can you find somebody who does house calls. With the explination that you can't leave your house. This will be the first steps. That is all you have to do. One step at a time. Don't even think of step 2 until you have step 1 sorted out. Bit like a child learning new skills. Only they are skills we once had but have forgotten how to use them over the years. They are all still there within. We just have to learn how to use them once more.

Hello,

First you should understand the physiology of a panic attack >>
http://www.bupa.co.uk/individuals/health-information/directory/a/hi-anxiety

Then you need to understand that your brain may be sending out false "fight ot flight" signals. And each time you react to them you reinforce the fear. In your case, you withdraw further and further and now find yourself agoraphobic >>  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agoraphobic

You can get help for this but it will take time and patience >> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cognitive_behavioral_therapy

I hope you take the steps needed to get well again. It's hard, it's terrifying, but necessary. Don't waste anymore time being homebound.
