I can totally relate to what you said about the bad days thing. I've felt like this for a few years after i heard someone say i'm having such a bad day, at the peak of my panic disorder. A good day for me would probably be horrible day for the average joe. They are getting though, i guess. Thanks for doing these videos. Its so comforting to see someone with anxiety looks and acts like everyone else. For some odd reason i just feel like i don't. Thanks again these are extremley helpful.

It's my life
And it's now or never
I ain't gonna live forever
I just want to live while I'm alive
Its my life
My heart is like an open highway
Like Frankie said
I did it my way
I just want to live while I'm alive
'Cause it's my life

Hi and I'm glad you liked the video :)

Apparently a few people have thought this was me (GreyGoose) - perhaps because of the word "my" in the description. However, this video is actually of another individual who posted his story on YouTube awhile back. I'm much too shy to do a video and besides, that guy is much better looking than me ;D

Interesting video.  It helps to be able to relate to people and say "yes there are others like me".

It is sobering to see similarities in what I have experienced and what you have. But it lends me to feel like I am not actually alone, even though anxiety makes you feel like the most alone person in the world.

About cutting. Yeah, don't do that. I say this because one night I had drunken alcohol after taking my meds and cut my upper left arm in 7 places, everyone of them exposing fatty tissue. I never got stitches, I was so ashamed that I treated them myself. Now I have the reminder on my left arm. I look like I narrowly escaped death by bear. No good, don't do it. You don't want negative emotions, looking at that everyday will do that to you.

Another thing, you have to feel right and comfortable with your doctors and therapists etc. Unless you're receiving government assistance4 in which case you see who they tell you to see. But if you have the option, find the right psychiatrist for you if that person has let you down.

:( I struggle with some of the same things that you do. I am in the process of court and everything to move from my dads to my moms. It is hard when friends are telling you that you have to stay there or that your not a good friend which has been happening a lot. Also at home ever since i had sex..which unfortunately was at 14 my father told me I was a slut and a 0107. This made me feel as if I had let the whole world down which I still partially feel. I began cutting cuz the anger I had inside me kept bottling up and I couldn't let any of it go. my friends would just say i made it up for attention..Little did they know my cutting go worse because of it. I have stopped now But I can still see the scar. It scares me how bad I was then..as it gets closer I am getting more and more worried. I have litterly worried myself sick, to an unhealthy weight of 85 pounds.
