Breathing problems think i have cancer

Hi All

I have been feeling really short of breath lately and have convinced myself I have cancer.

I have had breast cancer in the past so i have had real worries. I do smoke and just think it's lung cancer.

I'm so worried right now.

how long have you had anxiety?
I've been dealing with breathing issues since may.
doc has checked me and tested me.
everything came back clear.
so maybe were in the same boat?
btw, I smoke too.

Well i went to the er due to not being able to breath properly. The did a ct scan of my chest and i got the all clear. Thankk god

that is fantastic news!
now focus on that!
the all-clear means any breathing trouble you feel is all in your head.
so do NOT let it worry you anymore.

Well while in the hospital the doctor thought i had COPD. The doctor did the spirometry testing and all is normal.

No lung cancer no copd. Very happy

shortness of breath is a sign of anxiety.  I too smoke and worry ALL THE TIME TOO.  Try to rationalize it that your shortness of breath is a sign of anxiety!
