Government Assistance?
« on: February 16, 2007, 11:05:46 AM »
I was diagnosed with Clinical Depression in 1985 at the age of 10.  I haven't been to work in three weeks because of a major episode.  I take Wellbutrin, Celexa and Lithium.  I really need government disability or I will lose my house because I can't work.  Anyone have advice/granted assistance who can help?
I am married, live in NY, my husband makes $52,000/yr & our monthly bills including mortgage & property tax to be set aside come to $5,500/mo.

Go to the Social Security Administration website. . .they have a screening tool there that helps determine if you might qualify for disabilty benefits.
