I've gone numb in areas all of a sudden.  It doesn't really matter where it happens.  The only thing it has ever meant for me was either nerve impingement or anxiety.

DON'T ever let anxiety define who you are.  You are NOT anxiety.

You know what?  I"ve had a numb spot on my back about my braline for 12yrs.  it is from nerve damage froma disk pshing on nerves.  It doesn't scare me cuz it is really not going to hurt me at all.

anxiety causes things like what you describe.  As long as you can walk and move around,  it should really worry you.

Losing anxiety is like losing weight: It comes off very slowly and at a steady pace with a LOT of hard work, however if you start overeating again (Worrying in our case) it comes back full blown in a week or two.

As long as you aren't completely numb for days, it probably isn't anything to worry about.  Numbness is one of the most common anxiety symptoms out there.
