IBS or Kidney issue?
« on: August 29, 2010, 04:34:39 PM »
Anyone ever experienced constipation that lead to pain in the left lower abdomen?  It has been a few days since I have had a regular BM, I've been drinking lots of water and "stress relieving" tea.  I have also been trying to monitor what I eat and when.  I only have my left kidney, which is why this is concerning me so much, this has happened before on and off but I've never noticed it being this serious.  Is there anyone else who has either IBS or kidney related issues that can maybe confirm there is a difference in pain?  The pain isn't sharp or very painful it feels more like a pressure inside of me.  Any help would be nice, thanks!

Thank you for the help.  I took some laxatives yesterday and am still experiencing some of the pain but not as much and I am way less bloated.

Thank you so much for the help.  I'll be sure to look into it further and discuss allergies and possible IBS with my doctor.  I feel much better, I broke the cardinal rule and googled but I found some VERY helpful information pertaining to side effects of IBS.  Again, thank youuuu  ;D
