I wanna get a tattoo hat represents the life of someone with GAD and Panic disorder, such as me. Any Ideas?? I prefer something more like a symbol rather than a quote.
Thanks!

my daughter's PT has a tat that represents everybody in her life that has had cancer.  Hers, sadly, is getting rather big.  Each person is a rose on a vine on her arm.  IDK if that helps you any but thought I'd let you know what she did.

 a clock with no hands, first thing that comes to mind for me but then I have a strange head-lol. Timeless, unfinished, odd (not a tattoo you see everyone with), simple.

Im thinking of one like this one. Or like the painting "The persistence of memory". I'm not sure how to relate it with anxiety and panic.

Please say what you think.

I have a tattoo on my wrist that says "so it goes" and I got it there because of my anxiety.  In bad times, I look at it and try to remind myself that things happen and no amount of worrying about them will change it.

Bless you for quoting Vonnegut throughout your life.

I use that one and mix it with Julian of Norwich's "and this too shall pass." Not quite to positivity, but tames the ugly parliament in my mind.

I was thinking a heart with wings (kinda curing around the heart) and it has like a vine with thorns around it (or barbed wire) with your initials in the heart. I think that may be a good representation of struggle with anxiety. I was thinking about getting something like that for me for a tattoo.

Any luck Priv ? Tell us some of your inspirations , for example what is your fav colors, which animal would represent you best in life and are you a land or water person. What song or literature inspires you ..what brings you calm and peace/joy.

Sorry if those are too many questions, lol. Just trying to get an idea for a possible suggestion
BTW , ne of my fav artists is Vladimir Kush, if you're into surreal art.You might find an idea there
Good luck  :happy0151:

Well If I would get a tattoo, I would get something abstract, not like an animal or something you can name. I like stuff like symbols, words in another language, abstract art, ect. For example, dali's melting clock picture I attached in a previous post. Or perhaps something more optimistic and positive, unlike the melting clock. Though im not sure im gonna get a tattoo, only if it really means something to me, or inspires me.

I'm probably going to get this tattooed onto my left wrist with the word "LOVE" in scrawling letters either underneath or beside the picture. It is very symbolic of my life because my music has kept me sane and the love of my friends and family has kept me here on earth. (:

I want to get 5 tattoos on my arm soon, Japanese lettering. One meaning "in God's will" "love" "life/believe" "strong" "wisdom"

to me... I want these for everytime im going through anxiety ... so i can look at it .... take a step back and realize there is nothing i can't accomplish.. I have wisdom for what is making me this way when i think it's something i'm dying of hehe, I am strong because I have gotten these many times, and have fought to snap out of it. Love, because i have so many loving friends, who have been there for me when nobody else could even think of being there. God's will, for my spirituality in knowing there is a greater plan for me, things happen for a reason, and I have been starting to see that in my life.. my reason.. my purpose... as confusing as it is.. Life and believe.. well.. life.. is 0103 happens [= but when you believe you are fine, you know you are fine, believe that you can overcome anything and you will!! and then you can help someone else find that, it's life..
