hoping someone can help
« on: July 19, 2010, 05:35:26 PM »
I move from one city to another 3 weeks ago , I was amazed at the amount of work I could do , I thought I must be in remission , I was terribly sore at night but somehow would sleep  next morning a sound 6 hrs and despite a bit of stiffness was rearing to go again ,I am always experimenting with diet and thought I had found the magic solution somehow by hardly eating as I had no time  then out of the blue last week I woke up with tons of pain and so stiffed I could hardly function , with the pain came a feeling of utter despair and exhaustion, like a completelly different person had taken over my body and mind, the fibro fog has been incredible , then after a few days , nausea and stomach pain set in , a lot of gas and oily  spots in the toilet , I had taken 0.5 of ativan to ease the muscle stiffness, that usually helps , could this med have triggered the stomach pain or is all this caused by the fibro flare , I am beyond tired , it's scary and I feel so scared , every time I get a flare I dread that it wont go away as I know I could not live in this kind of pain for ever , can a flare trigger stomach issues or did the diet trigger the flare , is the exhaustion caused by the stomach or the fibro , its been ten days now and I see no end in sight, can anyone shed any light on this , anyone have had this experience , the tighness is also in my face, I lost my hearing on the left side one night , my eyes are dry , my nose , I cannot turn my neck , I went from looking vibrant and happy to looking like a dead old woman , what's up with that ?

Hello Miche . I understand what you're going through . I've had fibro for over 2o years .I have times when I feel like i can do anything but then for no reason I've ever found I'll wake up and find I can barely move and just the thought of getting up and making myself a cup of tea is out of the question . The best advice i can give you is play when you can and rest when you can't .
