I am more of a single player RPG guy. I do agree that it does help keep anxiety at bay for a while.

Yeah! Someone told me it's just like playing WOW but it's free. It has a huge world, good graphics, lots of class choices/combinations, and plenty of players. It's a lot of fun to play - whenever I get more free time, I plan on starting up my character again and leveling up some more ;D

I just started playing Dungeons and Dragons online this week.  They've also made this game FREE!  It too is very similar to WOW....the biggest difference is that you don't have to pay the monthly fee. ;D

Hi.  I would love to play an online adventure game.  Someone told me about this one "avalon" but it was way involved.  I like quest qames, not too heavy on the fighting.  Does anyone has a suggestion of a game to start out on?  I like the idea of developing my own character, etc.  Oh, also, I have a MAC if that matters.  Would appreciate any suggestions.   :winking0008:

I'm a WoW girl- Horde on Ravenholdt and Black Water Raiders.

I also do LARPs (Live Action Role Play) and the occasion tabletop (Warhammer 40k).

WoW is my first and true love though.

I play WOW although not as much as I used to. I have been playing it since 2006. I have found a nice, laid back guild as most of them have so many rules and want you to play so much it's like a job. I play a couple of 0409 games (there are lots of free online games there). But, mainly to relax with no stress, I play at POGO.Com.

it really depends on what kind of game our interested in...not too heavy on fighting....hmm....i would reccomend free realms. u get to customize your character but not much....thats the onldownfall..the only games i ow where u really getto individualize yourself on are on oober compliated heavily involved games liek WOW or everquest. WOW isnt too bad for fighting to be completely honest with you. its more nto its quests than anything.

I'm on Second Life, and I also play All Points Bulletin right now. I was playing Combat Arms for awhile, but I got bored with it.

I'm on Second Life too. Don't play often anymore, The Sims 2 kind of distracted me for a while.

I also have played Pirates of the Caribbean, Rappelz, and currently I've been playing Soul of the Ultimate Nation.
I'd really like to find something else though. Something not so grindy but some and level up quests.

I like to play Scrabble Blast.  I find it calming to search out the words.  No bells and whistles with Scrabble, lol.

I'm actually a contracted writer for Blizzard. In reality that just means I get a payday every few months for developing stories but it's still one of my biggest breaks ever. As for what I actually play, well, that would be FFXI and soon FFXIV. I played WoW a long time but just moved on. No hard feelings, like a good ex girlfriend.

i dont play many online games, considering my social anxiety i even would find that kind of difficult. i do play alot of single player games though. i really love the mind-bending stories of games like the metal gear solid games and xenogears. to be perfectly honest, i have been playing video games latley out of interests of the stories, with the interactivity acting like a compliment. i find video games to be lacking in creativity in that department(interactivity), usually just consisting of "get from point a to point b" objectives.

though two games i have enjoyed recently primarily for the interactivity are jenova chen's flower and flow.

I kinda miss it too.  My pally was the main healer for the main tank when we did ICC 25.  That was a lot of pressure but was fun too :)  I may try to sneak in brewfest this week.... Easy to do with the dungeon finder.
