I don't know if it's being imagined or NOT.
I feel like my breathing is so shallow, like I'm wearing something tight and just cannot breathe for the past 3 days now. I went to the cardiologist, got a ECHO and a 24 hour halter monitor along with 2 EKG's beforehand and he called today and said everything was fine! I asked him about coronary artery spasms and he said that's rare and I prob. don't have it but didn't say much besides that.
Weeeeeeelll, I made a mistake and got on a women's heart health board and read up almost every thread about Prinzmetal's angina and now I'm a wreck. I have every symptom besides actual crushing chest pain in the center of my chest.
I don't have chest pain when I have "attacks" it's more or so less on my right side of the ribs and goes into my jaw. Maybe gallbladder, I really don't know now.
It's just the breathing that's throwing me off. I just feel like it's so labored and shallow and it's causing me to hyperventilate. It's the only way I feel like I'm getting a full breath!
Has anyone had this before? I'm scared I'm going to have a heart attack.

I couldn't comment on all of your sypmtoms but I experience shallow breathing all the time and I'm constantly aware of my breathing. It makes it difficult to not hyperventilate sometimes as all my muscles seem to tense up - it's quite strange when I stop and concentrate on relaxing my upper stomach muscles for example, because it's shocking how tensed up they are and how much they release when I concentrate. Within 10seconds they are back to the tensed position without me even noticing it!

That's exactly how I felt when my panic attacks started. It was really scary! The first time it happened, I went to the ER, and they monitored my breathing and such, and eventually determined that everything was fine. But yeah, I also had really shallow breathing, and I was aware of it ALL the time, like breathing manually. I thought I was going to go crazy  ::) I only got over it by eventually really convincing myself that it was, indeed, nothing but anxiety. And it did go away.

Oh, and I also got chest pain sometimes from struggling to breath. When you actually breathe normally, the motion is pretty slight, but when you feel like you're breathing too shallowly, you super over compensate, and end up straining the tiny little muscles in your chest.
