Never Received Activation Email

Hi,

I recently had to format my hard drive, and lost most of my emails. I did my backups, and recovered most of my data, but could not remember my password for this website, because I had it logged in as forever.

As you know, I hit the "forgot my password" button, but never received the email to remind me.

I suspect there might be a problem with the system that sends out emails to remind folks as to what their passwords are or to reset.

There are probably others who lost or forgotten their passwords, and cannot contact the moderators here and notify for help.

Luckily, I kept trying to remember my password, and finally scored. I got in. I wrote it down this time and kept it in a safe place.

I just wanted to let you know that there may be a problem with activation email and password reset emails dont seem to be working, and could you pls look into it.

Thank you for your input. After a great deal of reading, asking around and trying to root out what might be causing this, I have created a tutorial which I hope should make the process easier and solve some problems members have been experiencing when trying to login or reset their password.
