this is what I've been doing for the last couple of weeks.  I can't wait until all the flowers start blooming.

Just had to share my bliss.

MOST anxiety happens at the subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state.

Beautiful!! Love it!  I laid mulch down in my flower beds this week (Big sale at Lowe's! ha ha!), I think my hands are stained red and I'll never understand why EVERY YEAR I seem to think that one bag of mulch will fill 5x the amount of space that it actually will???!!?  Crazy mulch... :)

Thank you.  Gardening is what pulled me out of the anxiety pit after my 3rd child 13yrs ago.  It was my activity (and new hobby) that gave me my snippets of normal that I built on.

very true.  the amount is deceiving.  I ordered seven yards of mulch.  It got here and I was convinced it wasn't enough.  As my hubby says, "You worry over this every year."  hahha.  I actually had three or four extra barrels in the end.  That is still cutting it close.

My hands and body smell like mulch for a few days after.  It doesn't seem to matter how many times I wash my hands.  Although this year, my hands were getting sore from the shovel and wheel barrel handles, so I wore gloves.
