i feel like maybe the stomach issues are causing the sensation of breathing issues.

any thought, opinions, or insights would be great.

This actually caught my attention because I'm having the same issues.....explain your symptoms to me. I'm beginning to wonder if mine are anxiety because m stomach and chest are tender when pressure is applied, I'll get up fropm a sitting position to walk somewhere and m heart will be racing and all of a sudden...I'm breathless. I seriously feel like I'm about to having an asthma attack. I have gerd though so that's my stomach sensitivity..

Count me in on these feelings too.

My first anxiety/stress symptoms where a panick attack, then PA and raising hearts, then dizzyness, shortness of breath, and stomach issues. Heart checked out fine.

I have this issue as well. My stomach feels weird, doesn't hurt but there is some sort of sensation. Then whenever I'm bloated I feel my breathing is different. Not sure exactly how to explain it, I can catch a breath and I can breathe deeply just fine but for some reason I just feel weird and find myself taking more deep breaths. Most likely my Anxiety, heck the bloating in the first place is probably cause by swallowing air from anxiety anyway!

my anxiety issues started with the pounding racing heart, and then difficluty swallowing/catching a breath. then it started effecting my stomach. it's all anxiety related. that thing takes over so much in your body it's obscene.

Hey! I've been having very very similar issues.

My stomach almost feels like there is a burning sensation in it...
I keep thinking it's gotta be GERD or something...my throat feels kinda funny and burning too...and there is a strange taste in my mouth. Due to the tummy stuff, I'm having trouble breathing - or maybe it's the other way around?
It's really throwing me for a loop and I was up half the night.
Hope you start feeling better soon!!

I'm not necessarily sure your breathing can be causing your stomach issues... but anxiety definitely can be the culprit. When you get anxious there is a decrease of activity in your digestive system. When this happens you can feel nauseous, constipated, and an all around feeling of heaviness in your gut.

The breathing issues are also caused by anxiety... whenever you get nervous or anxious you probably start breathing quickly...
