Naltexone for alcohol addiction?
« on: April 06, 2010, 12:13:29 PM »
Has anyone tried Naltrexone? I'm terrified of my drinking and even though I've been to rehab twice I still struggle with the urge, and when the urge hits, I have no control

I haven't tried that but I take Campral and it really helps, I don't experience many cravings.  Hope this helps.

I am not familiar with Naltexone, but have recently been researching a homeopathic remedy called Spiritus glandium quercus. It reportedly reduces cravings for alcohol and even makes the idea of consuming it disgusting for some. You can google it to research it more and find places to order it.
