Frustration
« on: January 01, 2007, 11:29:34 PM »
I feel like I am losing my mind!  I was diagnosed about 6 years ago with Social Anxiety - which has now been re-diagnosed as GAD.  I take Paxil & Wellbutrin.  Lately I have been getting little "tweaks" of nervousness and anxiety.  Like today - sitting at home with my boyfriend and our roommate, watching the football games, and BOOM - I get all sweaty, feel disconnected, shaky and weak....my heart is racing and I feel lightheaded.  I did my breathing excercises and felt alright finally.

For the past hour, my chest feels like I am being suffocated.  I keep taking deep breaths and they seem to help for a couple of minutes, but now this is just plain annoying - especially now I am going to have to take a Xantax to fall asleep.

This whole GAD thing is becoming annoying as heck....just when I think I have my arms around it - it comes back...angers me...

Anyone else feelin this?

I must be wishing on the wrong star, because someone else is always getting what I want
