Major Forum upgrade coming soon...

Dear Anxiety Zone Members

I just wanted to take a moment to inform all of you that at some point (a specific date has not yet been set) the forum will be upgraded to the latest version (v2.0). Unlike previous upgrades, this one will be massive, include many new features and improvements, a completely different layout, numerous bug-fixes and be fundamentally different from the version we have all become accustomed to using.

This will involve a great deal of work and possibly take several days and may result in the forum and other services being temporarily unavailable at various times during the upgrade process because the forum and database will have to be upgraded (or even completely re-installed), plugins upgraded, the chat room re-installed, "bridges" to other services re-established and a whole host of other things.

In the event that Anxiety Zone (or any service associated with it) becomes unavailable during the upgrade process, any updates, news and other information will only be available on our 0248, 0409 and 0247 sites (upper-right corner of the forum). You may wish to bookmark these sites so that in the event of an outage or disruption during the upgrade process you will have a place to go to get the latest news and information.

At the moment, the latest version of the forum software is v2.0-RC3. It is possible that this version will be installed rather than waiting for the final version to be released. From everything I've heard, read and seen, it certainly appears very stable.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up on this. Let's all hope everything goes smoothly and keep our fingers crossed when the time comes .
