Lexapro? For Anxiety&OCD?

Hi I was wondering if anyone here has tried Lexapro? What are the pro's and con's? My doctor just prescribed be Lexapro and I start it in the morning. I am a little nervous to take it

i took it for 6 months, i noticed at first i got a few annoying side effects like queezy stomach, felt feverish, dry mouth...those wore off after a few days and then i just had dry mouth a lot and i was ALWAYS hungry...i put on about 10 lbs but was no big deal. The most annoying thing was it didn't really seem to help the anxiety that much. I also got mood swings, and had trouble sleeping at night. My dad is also on lexapro for stress at his job and it seems to work for him, he also complains about not being able to sleep though. If you don't feel better in a month or so I'd talk to your doctor about trying a different med but I hope it works for you :)
