to high of a dose?

i have been on lexapro for a week and i am a walking zombie. i am so tired! i am on 10 miligrams..is that too high of a dose or just a side affect for now??

That's a low dose.  You definitely want to give it more than a week.  I'd give it a month unless you just can't stand not to.

I started at 5 mg, the lowest dose ever, and stayed on that for almost a week, then bumped up to 10 mg, stayed on that for a few days, and finally reached 20 mg.

If you are concerned, you could ask your pharmacist about the side effects.

I slept a whole bunch and was tired most of the time.  After a week or two, I felt fine though.
