Stomach spasm...is this IBS or something else?

I have been suffering from muscle spasms in my upper left side (under my rib) for a week now.  It is just like a Charlie horse in your leg.  You can actually see my stomach tightening and bulging out!  I have to straighten my back out for it to stop.  Of course, I have bad HA.  I don't notice it after eating or anything.  Maybe before a bowel movement but not every time.  My left side feels alittle full but looking at it , it looks like the right side.  I had an abdomenal CT about 10 mths ago (unrelated event) which showed only a kidney stone.  Does this sound like IBS or something more serious?  I have a big fear of MS . I have been trying to drink more water and taking some magnesium.  Anybody else had this????????  Please respond!!

Hi,I'm not a doctor,but I do have a hiaitial hernia and also get this uncomfortable feeling below the left rib......please don't let this scare you too much....
