excessive yawning??

ok so i've been having these bouts where i get pretty sleepy (usually after eating) and then i will yawn ALOT. now its starting to happen just out of nowhere, yawning 8-10 times a minute and i cannot stop. most of the time i'm not even that tired at all. I also notice that my heart rate is a pretty fast. Is this just a product of anxiety? I've never heard of a physical illness that causes yawning...

i've experienced this and chalked it up to anxiety.  it would happen midday when i wasn't even tired.  would go on and on.  happened today a little bit actually.

Yes, this happens to me and I am glad you posted about it as I was going to ask the same thing a few days ago.

I think it is the same with the yawning as it is for a few other things I worry about.  I have started burping and going to the toilet alot more since my anxiety has kicked in.  And of course the more I think about all of the those things, the more my body seems to respond.

Anxiety is crazy with what it can do!
